Vision

Golden Key International Honour Society at York University is an action-oriented and well-connected student organization committed to helping students unleash their full potential at national and international levels.

Mission

Golden Key International Honour Society at York University gives students the tools they need to achieve and maintain academic excellence, reach short and long-term goals and develop leadership skills through active on-campus and off-campus community participation.

History

Chartered on January 18, 2010, the Golden Key chapter at York University became the 377th Golden Key chapter worldwide and the 18th in Canada. Although the chapter is fairly young, it already has over 5000 members and has the record for having the largest inaugural class in Canada's history. Since its inception, York's GK executive teams and members have focused on community service, networking events, and reaching out to make connections with the local community and the entire university student body.

We welcome prospective members interested in service, academics, and leadership development to join us!
